On 14 October 2016 more than 70 participants from research and industry of the SCCER FEEB&D met for the Final Meeting of Phase I (2014-2016) at Empa.
The meeting was a good opportunity for the partners of the SCCER to receive an update of the research results achieved in phase I and their transfer to industry as well as to discuss the overall goals and the future directions of the SCCER FEEB&D in phase II (2017-2020).
The presentations and the poster session included topics from research and industry from the four work packages, such as
- WP1: nexAERO – a disruptive swiss aerogel technology company; risks and benefits of building envelope energy retrofits; innovative glazing with dynamic solar heat gains.
- WP2: Energy performance gap in building retrofits; Perception-based human building interaction; HDR vision sensing technology; new lighting solutions in buildings.
- WP3: EnergyOn platform; geo-dependent energy demand and production models; renewable decentralised energy systems; business models
- WP4: Innovation for sustainable and energy-efficient buildings; organisational learning in multi-energy systems.
