The participation of SCCER researchers to the International Seminar was possible via funding provided by the Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI). As a result, members of SCCER CREST, FURIES and FEEB&D were able to attend the seminar. The SCCER FEEB&D was represented by Dr. Georgios Mavromatidis from the Chair of Building Physics, ETH Zurich.
The Seminar participants had also the opportunity to visit the EXPO site in Astana. By visiting the different country pavilions, participants were informed about the energy innovation that comes from each country and were able to understand how specific conditions in each country guide and form their energy transitions.
More information on the event and the participants’ presentations can be found here.
