On 5 November 2015 the evaluation panel from CTI made its annual site visit to the SCCER FEEB&D. The evaluation panel was impressed by the clear strategy, the strong commitment of all parties and the progress that has been achieved in the last twelve months with regards to science and cooperation with industrial partners.
At the end of March 2016 the proposal for phase II (2017-2020) of the SCCER has to be submitted. Accordingly, a preliminary discussion with the evaluation panel on the focus of the work in phase II was performed. In general, the SCCER FEEB&D will keep its current direction and focus. However, new themes with high potential but still low TRL (“Technology Readiness Level”) will be included at the expense of issues that have already achieved a high TRL.
